Buterin was able to program in C++ from the age of 10. Buterin also read many books while he was learning programming skills.

Vitalik entered a new phase in his life. Buterin, along with Mihai Alisie, created the Internet resource “Bitcoin Magazine” in the same year. He spoke about cryptocurrency and blockchain technology in his journal. He was both the editor-in-chief and author of articles in his journal. In mid-2014, he resigned as editor-in-chief. The BTC Media group bought the resource in mid-2014. This was 1.5 years ago. Parallel to the publication of articles in Bitcoin Magazine, the young prodigy also wrote articles for other resources related to cryptocurrency, such as Bitcoin Weekly, Ledger, and others. While he was working on his magazine, the futurist creator of Ethereum left the University of Waterloo where he had studied programming. Buterin has had the pleasure of working with Charles Hoskinson, Anthony Di Iorio and Amir Chetrit since then. Gavin Wood, Joseph Lubin (co-founder of Ethereum), wrote most of the platform’s programming code. Buterin and his team began to work on the project.
