8th Largest NFT Marketplace Rarible Adds Tezos Support

Rarible claims it has increased its multi-chain compatibility by supporting three blockchains, including Ethereum, Flow and the Tezos proof of-stake (PoS). Rarible’s strategic alliance with Tezos will allow users to “mint low-fee and energy-efficient NFTs, as well as support secondary sales of projects living on the Tezos ecosystem,” according to the company’s announcement.

According to statistics from, Rarible is eighth in terms of all-time marketplace sales. It has $260.45 millions in sales and 88,258 traders. Rarible added support for the Flow network to the NFT marketplace in November after it initially launched its services using Ethereum. After Rarible raised $14M from investors, the team announced its intention to make multi-chain compatibility possible at the end June.

Rarible announced that the Tezos ecosystem gained significant traction among leading brands, artists and creators. The Tezos blockchain was recently revealed by Ubisoft as a NFT platform. Ubisoft, which owns the games “Assassin’s Creed,” Prince of Persia,” Rabbits Invasion,” and Just Dance, recently released collectibles called the “Digits.”

Secondary Support for Ubisoft Digits

Rarible reveals that Ubisoft will add secondary support for Digits. Rarible and Ubisoft will collaborate to support Digits secondary sales. These NFTs originate from Ubisoft’s legacy videogame company Ubisoft. The company explained that Digits are in-game collectibles of high quality with active utility value. They are the first energy-efficient NFTs available in AAA games thanks to Tezos’ PoS network.”

Rarible announces:

Rarible and Tezos have teamed up to launch Blazing Futures, an inaugural collection, which Diane Drubay curated. Blazing Futures, a collection featuring the work of ten Tezos artists, will be exclusive to Rarible and available from today.

Rarible will be joining the NFT marketplace Hic et nunc. This NFT marketplace also sells Tezos based non-fungible token collectibles. It was established by the community following the departure of the founder. Although Hic et nunc has seen its sales decline since the transition, the marketplace still managed $53.05 million in total sales between 53,711 traders. Tezos has Hic et nunc and Rarible, as well as the NFT markets (and Kalamint). Rarible launched a messaging app on November 29, just before the Tezos integration.
